Today, Infermedica (HT ‘18) announced a $10M Series A financing round for their AI-driven platform that helps insurance, telemedicine companies, and health systems increase efficiency through fast, digital symptom-checks. The platform has nearly 60 B2B partners across 30 countries, including Microsoft, Allianz, Global Excel, Sana Kliniken, and Médis, and has performed more than 6 million health checks globally. TrekIT Health (HT- ‘18) announced closing $1M in additional seed financing. TrekIt’s technology is a HIPAA compliant and secure, real-time workspace for synthesizing information across EHRs and care teams. Last week, EnsoData (Healthtech - Spring 2019) announced a $9 million Series A financing round led by Venture Investors and Zetta Venture Partners, with participation from Dreamit Ventures. Their platform transforms billions of waveform data points collected from sensors in medical devices and wearables into an easy-to-read report, so clinicians can make faster, more accurate diagnoses.
Wellth, a platform designed to improve treatment adherence using behavioral economics, announced the closing of their $10M Series A round, co-led by yabeo and Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund (BIVF). Wellth graduated from Dreamit’s Healthtech program in 2016.
Net Health has acquired Tissue Analytics, a pioneering developer of automated mobile wound and skin imaging and predictive analytics solutions. The Baltimore-based startup graduated from Dreamit’s Healthtech program in 2014.
NeuroFlow is a platform for getting patients with behavioral health issues better by supporting clinical teams with collaborative and measurement-based tools in all care settings. The company announces a $7.5 million Series A financing round led by San Francisco-based Builders VC.
BrainCheck (Dreamit Healthtech Fall 2016) raised $8M in funding. The startup helps physicians assess and track the mental health of their patients.
TrekIT Health, a clinical workflow management and analytics company, announced their newest round of funding from IP Group, Inc. and Dreamit Ventures. The startup will use the funding to enhance product capabilities and accelerate sales growth with key hires.

Dreamit portfolio company LevelUp was acquired by Grubhub in a “spectacular outcome” for the accelerator and venture fund. Founder and CEO Matt Maloney told TechCrunch that while previous Grubhub acquisitions like Eat24 were designed to give the company’s delivery business more scale, “This is kind of a different acquisition. It’s a product and strategic positioning acquisition.”
Singapore-based smart lock maker Igloohome has closed a $4 million Series A round. The startup graduated from Dreamit in 2015. The investment was led by Insignia Ventures, the new firm started by ex-Sequoia venture partner Yinglan Tan. Phillip Private Equity, X Capital Ventures, K3 Venture’s Kuok Meng Xiong, angel investor Koh Boon Hwee, and existing backer Wavemaker Partners also took part. Inspired by the rise of Airbnb and hosts on the platform, Igloohome sells a range of key-less products that include digital locks, digital deadbolts and a digital safe deposit box. The products are notable because they work offline, requiring either a manually entry pin code or ‘Bluetooth key’ on a phone to unlock. Despite that, owners can still control access remotely, while there’s a physical key just in case.
